DemocraCycle interview 7, in Hawkesbury, Ontario
While grabbing breakfast at a local Tim’s, in #Hawkesbury Ont, where French is spoken frequently, I came upon a couple of friends, one who has #DownSyndrome.
They were very kind to let me interview them. I wanted to know if they had suffered discrimination or been taunted, and if so had things improved over the years. It was a promising development to learn that they both agreed things had gotten better over the past few decades. They felt they were experiencing more acceptance and less negativity.
