I will be riding my bike to raise funds for Canadian democracy non-profits. This year's journey, my first, is from Halifax to my hometown of Toronto, (about 2,000 km), I'll be enroute from late June thru August 2022. Along the way I'll be interviewing people on their thoughts about our country's democracy. What does it mean to them? How can we strengthen and improve it? Help support organizations that are making Canada more united!
Donate to one or more funding campaigns below. All donations to these Causes are handled by GoFund Me, and go directly to the selected organizations.
Outbursts of blatant racism continue to stain our reputation for diversity and inclusion in Canada. You can help experts expand mutual understanding.
Hate groups and extremists threaten our beloved democracy. They may use violent means to get their way. You can help experts contain the growing danger.
Help fund Mark's 2,000 kilometre, seven week ride on behalf of the above non-profits. Or offer him a friendly place to stay the night along the way.
Assist Mark in covering his expenses as he cycles on his own from Halifax to Toronto, in support of Canadian democracy.
Well, at least they're being honest about it.
